Credit card companies make their money on the 85% of us who fail to pay the outstanding balance each month. Even if you are not in a position to pay the balance each month you can still save some money if use your card wisely.

The first and most obvious way to save money is to pay the balance each month. However if this is not possible then there are ways to save money. Moving money from credit card to credit card to take advantage of interest free balance transfers and effectively borrowing money for free. Be sure to read the terms and conditions on each card before you transfer.

Pay your credit card bill on time and avoid late fees which can cost you up to $40 each time. Check the payment option and guidelines on your bill. The best method of avoiding late fees is to setup a direct debit for the minimum payment each month.

Keep a close eye on your fees and charges and manage them very closely. Check you balance statement every month. Avoid withdrawing cash from your credit card. These services will cost you from 2% upwards of the amount drawn.

So the bottom line is by using your credit cards wisely you can reduce adverse effects of credit cards and maximize the benefits by spending wisely, using self-discipline, and paying off your balance as quickly as possible to avoid unnecessary fees. Credit Card Tips

Merry Christmas everybody from Mrs. Fox! What is December 25th all about to you America? I will let you answer that question for yourself. But for me and my house, we will acknowledge our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on that day and everyday of the year. I have raised my children to understand that this was not their birthday. I would explain this to them by saying, “How would you like it; if on your birthday I gave all your gifts to people that was celebrating your birthday?” They would respond by saying “Mother that is not right.” I would agree and then tell them that everyday is Christmas, but on December 25th we are celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I would also tell them that “we” are gifts to God by the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. By raising my children to understand the real reason for Christmas I have saved a lot of money over years.

Don’t get me wrong, I would always say Merry Christmas to them when I brought them their necessities and wants. (smart uh?) America please understand as parents if you fail to inform your own children of the reason for the season while they are growing up; nobody else will. I believe that if adults would just grow up and stop interfering with Christmas, the children of today would have a day of rejoicing and the adults would not have a day of going into debt for things.

Now after Christmas, on January 1st I would go into the stores and shop like crazy for my children and everybody else. Why? Because, I know that businesses count on shoppers during the holidays to be materialistic; and I am a wise steward when it comes to economics. In addition, I would give each one of my children a $100.00 and let them loose in the store. Then they would buy whatever they want. However, the joy they had on their faces was proof enough for me to know how the Lord Jesus Christ felt when he gave me the gift of his Salvation to live for him. You see the $100.00 in the hands of my children to buy what they want is just like the salvation the Lord Jesus Christ gave to me so I can now live for Him. America let us get it straight when it comes to Christmas and why we celebrate it okay.

She firmly believes the real war on Earth is a spiritual war: Good vs. Evil. Diane’s goal is to make sure that every person is aware that ones spirituality needs must out-weigh one’s physical and mental desires.

Online car finance is convenient. You can apply over the net and shop around for a good deal from the comfort of your home.

But with the rise of scams on the net there are precautions you should take to make sure you are not being ripped off.

Car Finance Safety Tips

1) If you are in an english speaking country, the website you are dealing with should be in english. If the English is poor it could be a scam site.

2) Only deal with companies that publish full contact details on their site, such as phone numbers, preferably one in your country. Also they should maintain a physical office and also publish that on the web. A reputable company will have an office.

3) They should be listed in the phone directory as well, either the yellow or white pages.

4) No bank or finance company will ever send you an email asking for your passwords or account details.

5) Check a number of companies out before you make your decision. Compare the rates. Read all the terms and conditions.

6) E-loan and Capital One are two safe online finance companies and have passed all these checks from my research.

7) I recently reviewed an offer from a finance company that looked like it was from Russia, who didn’t even have a phone number. They had all manner of explanations but it is simply not good enough. So go with professional companies. Remember, there is no such thing as something for nothing

Remember to seek competent advice from a professional such as accountant before making financial decisions.

Building your credit after repeated interruptions is a constant headache we all want to avoid. In this article I am going to break it on down for you, since there are many sources that will take full advantage of you when the opportunity arise. If you feel bad simply because you can’t meet your bills expectations at the moment they arrive, then you are not alone. The fact is, even the best of us are struggling to meet some expectation that the system has placed on us.

We calculate weekly the amount we spend on groceries, which are constantly increasing, as well as other bills that are constantly on the rise. It seems at times it is a no win situation, but the fact is there is always a solution to most problems. The problem most times is some of us do not have the means to find those solutions. This brings forth more stress and often we feel that we are alone. If you trying to build your credit status you need to find the resources that can help you get results. The marketplace offers credit repair kits, which can lead us in the right direction to repairing credit, but the disadvantage is that many of the kits are expensive.

Let’s face it, not everyone has the money to spend on commodities that claim to help us. Some of us struggle harder than others just to survive. Life is forever changing and in order to keep up with the changes we all have to find a solution. Therefore, I am going to tell you where you can get a free credit repair kit. Your local library stores a wealth of information and it is free to the public. In most libraries that have credit repair kits, credit repair books, or debt management solution books.

Anything you want at your disposal and it is all free information. The library also has copy and fax machines often, and if you notice in the credit repair guide or kit, it will have copies of the letters you can write to your creditors. Make yourself some copies and once you fill them out as instructed, you are on your way to repairing your credit. The library also has guides or kits for filing bankruptcy.

If you do not see a way out, then you may want to go this route. In most cases, you can do a Pro Bono Bankruptcy, which means you will represent yourself in the courtroom. I just wanted to let you know that if you file a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, you will have monthly installments to make, but if you file Chapter 13 Bankruptcy then the courts wipe out all your debts. The problem is that bankruptcies remain on credit files for up to ten years or longer. If you can avoid bankruptcy do so, however it is not the end of the world if you do.

I know people personally that filed bankruptcy and was able to get loans for mortgage, cars and so on. If you know what you are, doing you can do anything no matter how bad your situation is. Avoid Debt Consolidation, simply because it is means you will be paying fees and costs to others to get out of debt, which only adds up the bills. You might want to consider a Debt Counselor from a respected organization.

It makes sense to check out any business first before spending money or asking for services. The BBB offers free information on organizations, businesses and corporations. Once you have investigated the service then you will know if the people are really trying to help you. Any service that tells you they can get you out of debt in no time at all is pulling your leg. The fact is even when you pay your bills your credit will continue to list all the bad debts, it will only say after the debt listed…Resolved.

Finally message while I am thinking about it. It is important to get copies of your credit reports from TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. You can find any information you need online. Knowing your status in life is the beginning of repairing bad credit.

Interconnected…

Terry Dashner

I’m sure you are familiar with the term, conjoined twins or as they are more popularly known–Siamese twins. These are twins who are joined in such a way that they share some organs. There is ordinarily an interconnectedness circulatory system, so that the vital fluids flow through the entire conjoined body. In many cases, the two persons share some vital organs, so that they can only be surgically separated by sacrificing the life of one of them or even both of them (Millard J. Erickson, Making Sense of the Trinity, Baker Book House Co, 2000).

A fairly recent example is the Holton twins, Katie and Eilish, who were born to parents living just outside Dublin, Ireland. They were conjoined from the shoulder to the hip, and shared one liver and one intestinal system. They had two legs, and two arms in roughly the normal place, with two additional arms protruding from the middle of their back. They had two hearts, and the remainder of the normal organs in approximately the usual fashion, although their torso was larger and heavier than usual for a single child.

The parents had to make the agonizing decision whether to approve the surgery attempting to separate them. They were determined that under no conditions would they decide to sacrifice the life of one to preserve the life of the other. Finally the decision was made to proceed with the operation, which was attempted in May 1992. Eilish survived, but Katie died after a few days. An autopsy revealed that her heart was weak and underdeveloped, and that she had been relying on the action of Eilish’s heart to supply her part of their body with blood. Eilish showed strong indications of missing Katie. Here was a case where not only the bodies but the lives of the two were so intertwined that one literally depended very heavily on the former psychologically. Whereas the personalities of the two twins had been quite different, Mr. and Mrs. Holton testified that Eilish who had been the more serious of the two now took on some of the personality qualities of Katie, especially her playfulness, so that, in the parents’ words, ‘It is as if a part of Katie lives on, as well.’ (Ibid., pp. 63-64)

In reading this story again, I thought of the interconnectedness of the Body of Christ–that is the Church. I also thought about the Trinity. Not only do the three members of the Godhead interpenetrate each other and supply their life to one another, but that all three are involved in all of the works of God. Certain of these works are primarily the doing of one of these rather than the others, but all participate to some degree in what is done. Thus it is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit at work together in my salvation, healing, sanctification, resurrection, and glorification.

The glue that keeps the Trinity and even the Body of Christ together is God’s love. Please note that I said it is God’s love that binds us together and not human love. There is a big difference in the two. This morning I want to share with you some of the differences between God’s love and human love. If we can note the differences between the two it will help us maintain relationships even when our love has been tested and sorely tried to the point of exhaustion. We can truly love are neighbors as ourselves. And we can even love our enemies with God’s help.

There are three separating factors that make human love what it is–incomplete and imperfect.

The first separating factor is our physical bodies (Ibid., p. 59). We are separated, and the law of physics which states that two physical objects cannot occupy the same space will always have that effect, as seen in the collision of automobiles or football players. Our physical makeup has the advantage of making us distinct, unique, and individual; but it has the disadvantage that communication between two human persons must take place through some medium.

There are many mediums through which humans communicate. I may communicate ideas, feelings, information or conversation through media, voice, art, body-language, touch, emotion and the list goes on. The problem, or the break down, in communicating comes because the medium itself is imperfect. Is there a solution to communicating in an imperfect world, through an imperfect medium, to an imperfect people? Yes there is.

I will illustrate the solution by reading Romans 8: 26, “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express” (NIV). In the immediate context the Bible is telling us that there is sometimes a breakdown in our communication to God by prayer. Sometimes we have things on our heart, and we just can’t put them into words. It is at these times that the Holy Spirit will help us communicate what is truly on our heart. The Spirit of God will articulate through our prayers what we need to say to God. He does this by “groaning” through us. In other words, the Holy Spirit can supersede our physical limitations in communicating effectively unto God. He can use even our groans to speak the eloquence of our hearts before the Father. I have one question for you. Do you pray in the Holy Spirit?

A second factor separating human persons from one another is differing experiences (Ibid., p.59). To the extent that we have not had similar experiences we have difficulty identifying with the other, and frequently have trouble communicating. This may affect the communication process adversely. We use a particular symbol, assuming that the other person understands by it the same thing that we do. Thus, we may think we agree when we do not, or that we disagree when we are actually talking about different things. We are unable to ‘get inside the other person’s head’ to experience what he or she has experienced.

Again the Bible addresses the problem of communicating in spite of differing experiences. I Corinthians 12: 14-26. Listen to verse 26, “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it” (NIV). The eye of the body was not made by God to experience and interpret the same tasks as the hands, the mouth, or stomach. However, because the eye is of the same organism as the hand, the mouth, and the stomach, it will experience the same pain against bodily attacks.

Empathy is key to communicating when life’s experiences are not equal for all parties involved.

The third separating or isolating factor with human persons is preoccupation with one’s self, one’s own needs and problems, which makes it difficult to focus on, understand, or empathize with other persons. Because we are so caught up with our own needs and problems, we find it difficult to really focus on the other’s concerns. Because God is other-oriented, and is completely secure in himself, each of the persons of the Trinity is so also, and each is able to identify fully with the experiences of each of the others. There is nothing to distract them from this (Ibid., p.60).

I’ve listed three isolating factors that keep humans from effective communication. A physical body, differing experiences, and preoccupation with one’s own life can hamper effective communication between us. However, I’m going to end this document by elaborating on what I mentioned in the beginning. Yes, you and I will always run into problems in communicating with one another. We are imperfect creatures with an imperfect and limited love for one another. Nevertheless, that does not keep us from having godly and holy fellowship and relationships in Christ Jesus. God’s love is perfect. When we recognize that our love has reached its limits, it is at this time that we call on God. We are to call on God to love with his perfect love through us. “Lord, I’m having a difficult time in loving this person but your Word tells me to love everyone. Therefore, God love this person through me.”

Remember, God’s love is not an emotion. To love our fellowman with God’s love is a decision on our part to love in spite of how we feel towards someone. We “will” to love our fellowman in spite of how we feel about him.

Keep the faith. Stay the course. Jesus is perfect Love!

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? -2 Corinthians 6:14

Any way you look at it, dating can be tricky…especially when religion is involved. Being raised in a Christian home where tradition runs deep, you may find yourself in the midst of a major battle when your heart is given to someone with different beliefs. There is, of course, nothing wrong with dating a non-Christian, just keep in mind that you marry who you date. If this is understood, and you are truly willing to accept and deal with the repercussions, all the more power to you. All we suggest is that you consider a few things before jumping in.

What kind of dilemmas would you face in the future? Can a non-Christian help you spiritually, or will they gradually pull you down? It’s easy to compromise your standards and beliefs in order to stay appealing to that person, but is that really being true to yourself? It shouldn’t even be an option to alter everything you’ve based your life around because your beliefs have helped shape you into the person you are, the person that they fell for.

Then there’s always the issue of children. What kind of foundation will their lives be built on? Would they be encouraged to attend church and live the principles that you live by, or will they be brought up in the middle of a constant tug-of-war? It general, it just seems to be easier on everyone, especially kids, when both parties follow the same rulebook. Then again, there are those occasional exceptions to the rule.

We’ve all heard different stories of Christians dating non-Christians who eventually do turn their lives to God. They later marry and have strong, happy relationships with values centered on Christ. Or, there are those couples that just don’t let religion get in the way. Both are willing to compromise and let the other partner have their freedom to worship and live in a way that suits them. As promising as it sounds, though, it’s not always realistic. Many couples involved in “dual-faith” relationships will find themselves buried in conflict and heartache at some point, causing them to break up or divorce.

It’s to be expected that meeting new people, especially people that you’re compatible with, is going to be challenging. But, consider carefully whether short-term gain is worth ending up with the wrong person. Falling in love is easy, but it’s hard to imagine ever voluntarily walking away from the relationship because your partner’s beliefs contradict your own.

The bottom line is that it’s up to you who you date, because you’re the navigator of your future. No matter who you end up with, you’re bound to run into problems now and then. That just comes with the territory. From there, it’s up to you what happens. You’ll either choose to stick at it and work through the rough patches, or you’ll decide it’s too hard and back out. If it makes your decision any easier, just remember this advice: when a Christian and a non-Christian jump into a relationship, the scales are uneven and likely to tip!

So what do you look for when applying for a credit card for your small business? One thing is for sure, wasting money isn’t an option because it can make or break your business. Things to look for are low interest rates and good customer service.

Ask around for companies with good customer friendly service. Some will let you off late payments time after time while others will come down like a ton of bricks. You need them to be flexible as you never know when you may run into problems

Make sure you don’t go with one because of a low introductory offer. You want a long term one as you may not have time every six months to be jumping from one to another. Before signing up for one read the small print, remember it could save your business.

Look out for special bonuses companies offer. Some times companies such as Visa or American Express join with other companies to save you money on anything from shipping or office supplies

Here are two small business credit card options but look around for more and weigh up the benefits for each one

American Express Business Gold Card

•	No annual fee for the first year

•	No pre-set spending limit

•	Save at known brands, such as Staples, FedEx and Hertz

•	When you enroll in the Membership Rewards program, you earn points virtually every time you use your eligible, enrolled Business Card.

•	Online Account Management

•	Car Rental Loss and Damage Insurance

CitiBusiness® Platinum Select® Card

The CitiBusiness® Platinum Select® Card is the card built for small businesses and includes:

•	A generous credit line
•	Low rate on purchases
•	Additional cards for employees
•	Free quarterly and annual account summaries
•	Free ‘Ask the Experts’ service <br
•	Free 24/7 Concierge Service

A great place to find out more about credit cards is the internet, one useful site is: http://www.credit-card-index.com

With the compensation way of life increasing all throughout the planet, having possession of professional indemnity cover is developing into being more & more necessary. If you do not currently have liability insurance built-in into your building insurance, then now is perhaps the exact time to look into buying enhanced insurance. Here is some suggestions about why you need insurance, and what to pay attention to.

What is professional indemnity insurance: Public Liability insurance is an insurance contract that protects you from claims that other individuals may perhaps make against you in the event of an accident. If somebody damages their possessions or wounds themselves in or around your property or business then the professional indemnity insurance will cover you for any charges that could perhaps occur. Cover generally ranges from two hundred and fifty pounds up to one million pounds.

What are you covered against: Insurance will insure protect against accidents or loss that other individuals might endure in or around your home or business site. You are protected from claims from thief’s on top of injury that may occur to anyone from falling objects or employees carrying out repairs. If a disaster arises on your property & someone claims against you, your insurance contract will help you to pay any damages.

What’s included A few contents or property insurance documents have integrated liability insurance. You ought to check with your insurer whether this is the case, and what extent of cover you have. Even if the insurance is built-in, you need to make sure that you are correctly covered for any likely accidents that might occur. Purchase public liability insurance for small business at Insured Risks.

Payment: The payments that you are likely to have to pay depend on the type of coverage you want. If you simply cover your home, then the costs are likely to be lower than if you are wanting to cover a business. Nevertheless, payments are somewhat cheap for the extent of protection that you get, and it is as a result vital for anyone running an organisation.

“Virtual Real Estate Investing” is a relatively new concept. There are many variations on what this term means, encompassing everything from using the internet to aid in real estate investing efforts to participating in online games such as SecondLife.

To separate fact from fiction, I asked Bryan Ellis for comments. He’s the man many consider to be the father of this new form of investing.

When I began using the term virtual real estate investing in the late 1990s, I did so because I saw clear parallels between the strategies used for profiting from physical real estate and those that would create income in the online world, said Ellis.

One example of the parallels between virtual and physical real estate Bryan Ellis cites is the similarity between the monetization of domain names versus physical property. “There’s a huge difference between a website and a piece of real estate, but the ways you can profit from them are similar: ‘flipping’, rental/leasing, advertising sales, etc…all of these apply to both markets” he states.

The similarities really are obvious. After all, if you own a valuable piece of real estate, it’s “valuable” because other people are interested in that specific piece of property. Similarly, ownership of a desirable domain name is valuable for the same reasons. In either case, you could sell or lease the asset and turn it into cash.

In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing, Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.
